Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Quechoco's Serafín Puyo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erik Gac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafín Puyo in the 3rd minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Vasco Lecaros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quechoco and the Palmilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Vasco Lecaros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quechoco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anastasio Hetz 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Arnaldo Lorca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Lorca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Cobaleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Quechoco got a freekick which was hit by Alex Manns. After a defensive mix-up in Palmilla AFC's zone, Serafín Puyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Gac came out of the goal and Serafín Puyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Gac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafín Puyo in the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Hetz in the 52nd minute of play forced Quechoco's goalkeeper Ramón Cobaleda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quechoco's Ramón Cobaleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damián Alcayaga in the 54th minute of play. Maurilio Mattei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Modesto L´Hotelier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arnaldo Lorca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valiente Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Palmilla AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pietro Pareja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Serafín Puyo's late challenge caught a Palmilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafín Puyo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quechoco's Serafín Puyo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Anastasio Hetz fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmilla AFC's protests and gave Anastasio Hetz a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasio Hetz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Palmilla AFC's Anastasio Hetz got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arnaldo Lorca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Lorca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Cobaleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Hetz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Cobaleda saved Quechoco from getting behind. Anastasio Hetz scored 2-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Cobaleda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmilla AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quechoco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
