With an all-out effort, Meseta Azul C.D's Elizalde Calabrano threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Zebadilla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luis María Vuskovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elizalde Calabrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis María Vuskovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Luis María Vuskovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eladio Luksic in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Torres saved Meseta Azul C.D from getting behind. Víctor Javier Carranza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Elizalde Calabrano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Hipolito Rojo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huelquen FC and the Meseta Azul C.D players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hipolito Rojo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gilesindo De Ferari hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Elizalde Calabrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Falcón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Meseta Azul C.D's Luis María Vuskovic slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elizalde Calabrano. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Víctor Javier Carranza might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elizalde Calabrano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víctor Javier Carranza ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes, Álvaro Yáñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huelquen FC and the Meseta Azul C.D players grew even worse after the yellow card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Huelquen FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eladio Luksic kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis María Vuskovic kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elizalde Calabrano. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. Víctor Javier Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elizalde Calabrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víctor Javier Carranza to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víctor Javier Carranza in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elizalde Calabrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Huelquen FC booed when Meseta Azul C.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víctor Javier Carranza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Huelquen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis María Vuskovic came free, but Elizalde Calabrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Meseta Azul C.D got a freekick which was hit by Menéndez Larraechea. Álvaro Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Rojo in the 63rd minute of play. Huelquen FC's Elizalde Calabrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Javier Carranza in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meseta Azul C.D's Martin Falcón got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Luis María Vuskovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Meseta Azul C.D's Víctor Javier Carranza in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huelquen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luis María Vuskovic might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elizalde Calabrano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis María Vuskovic ran back to his position shaking his head. Huelquen FC's Elizalde Calabrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Javier Carranza in the 77th minute of play. Álvaro Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Rojo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis María Vuskovic struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Elizalde Calabrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meseta Azul C.D. In the 87th minute, Víctor Javier Carranza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elizalde Calabrano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Luis María Vuskovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elizalde Calabrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elizalde Calabrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis María Vuskovic in the 93rd minute of the match. Meseta Azul C.D's Víctor Javier Carranza got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meseta Azul C.D walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
