Leviatan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogerio Saldivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Podador Bastidas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogerio Saldivia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. The supporters of Leviatan booed when Parajalla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Maria Ardura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Leviatan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Dorr to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes, Rogerio Saldivia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parajalla and the Leviatan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leviatan made a substitution. Eriberto Fridman replaced Narciso Dorr. The supporters of Leviatan booed when Parajalla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogerio Saldivia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dedé Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Leviatan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Leviatan's goal looked a bit too open when Rogerio Saldivia came free, but Podador Bastidas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Arduengo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Podador Bastidas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Arduengo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Parajalla got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Garzón. Rogerio Saldivia kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Dedé Breckenfeld had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Julio Acasuso. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Enzo Arduengo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podador Bastidas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Enzo Arduengo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Parajalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Arduengo couldn't finish the play. Parajalla made a substitution. Camilo Velez replaced Rafael Maria Ardura. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leviatan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
