The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cacique booed when Trupan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaiver Villamil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacique's Elias Della managed to work through Trupan's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elias Della dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Cacique booed when Trupan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Trupan's Marco Pellegri got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trupan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miquel Gebauer was slow to take the kick. During this time Cacique's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Trupan's goalkeeper Enzo Mattensohn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romualdo Cobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enzo Mattensohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Mattensohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Anastassiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romualdo Cobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Trupan's Justino Malbec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Pirola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Della to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Cacique got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Gartsman. If Romualdo Cobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Elias Della had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Mattensohn. Trupan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Della was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 65th minute, Trupan's Narcomillo Beausejour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Trupan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tancredo Bazan in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdo Cobo in the 78th minute of play forced Trupan's goalkeeper Enzo Mattensohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Narcomillo Beausejour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Trupan's Narcomillo Beausejour sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Pirola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Romualdo Cobo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Trupan's Enzo Mattensohn. Enzo Mattensohn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the game, Agustín Anastassiou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacique's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trupan the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Cacique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Anastassiou to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cacique's zone, Narcomillo Beausejour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Pirola came out of the goal and Narcomillo Beausejour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Anastassiou hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Justino Malbec in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pablo Pirola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narcomillo Beausejour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Pirola having to interfere.
