Vicente Salamanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guenac AFC's Vicente Salamanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Della in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Cacique's goalkeeper Pablo Pirola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnau Mac Rostie. After having played for 38 minutes, Arnau Mac Rostie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guenac AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnau Mac Rostie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Aburto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guenac AFC had won after a very even match.
