In the 6th minute, Cacique's Sandro Gartsman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Julio Acasuso. José Julio Acasuso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogerio Saldivia in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Pirola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cacique's Sandro Gartsman got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pablo Pirola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Arduengo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Cacique's José Julio Acasuso threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias Della, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rogerio Saldivia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pablo Pirola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogerio Saldivia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogerio Saldivia might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Pirola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogerio Saldivia ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacique's Pablo Pirola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogerio Saldivia in the 28th minute of play. Rogerio Saldivia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pablo Pirola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Arduengo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rogerio Saldivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Pirola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogerio Saldivia in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogerio Saldivia in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Pirola saved Cacique from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Rogerio Saldivia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Pirola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Della to strike the kick off in the second half. When Enzo Arduengo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Parajalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Arduengo couldn't finish the play. Enzo Arduengo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Pablo Pirola 54 minutes into the match. Pablo Pirola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Saldivia in the 57th minute of play. Ezequiel Bonomelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Pirola having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Rogerio Saldivia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Pirola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 64 minutes into the game, Parajalla's Enzo Arduengo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Pirola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Romualdo Cobo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Julio Acasuso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Rogerio Saldivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Pirola having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Enzo Arduengo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parajalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Arduengo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Pirola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogerio Saldivia in the 82nd minute of play forced Cacique's goalkeeper Pablo Pirola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Bonomelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Pirola having to interfere. Parajalla made a substitution. Camilo Velez replaced Rafael Maria Ardura. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rogerio Saldivia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parajalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogerio Saldivia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
