Arnau Forlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Colimán in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafín Mamani in the 7th minute of play forced Ohiggins FC's goalkeeper Arnau Forlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafín Mamani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alesandro Echaurren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Riobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Lucero Christie sent off a good shot on target. When Serafín Mamani came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Zarzal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafín Mamani couldn't finish the play. In the 16thth minute of the game Serafín Mamani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ohiggins FC's Arnau Forlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alesandro Echaurren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnau Forlan having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Zarzal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Riobo came free, but Lucio Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes, Zarzal FC's Afonso Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnau Forlan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zarzal FC reached it. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Lucero Christie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute of the match, Lucero Christie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucio Pacheco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serafín Mamani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafín Mamani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnau Forlan having to interfere. Ohiggins FC's Arnau Forlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Echaurren in the 36th minute of play. Serafín Mamani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alesandro Echaurren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arnau Forlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igon Pascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Lucio Pacheco made a huge save. After some careless play in the Ohiggins FC defense, Serafín Mamani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnau Forlan. The Ohiggins FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnau Forlan should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ohiggins FC's Teodosio Riobo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucio Pacheco. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Riobo in the 55th minute of play forced Zarzal FC's goalkeeper Lucio Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Lucero Christie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ohiggins FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucero Christie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafín Mamani got free with Arnau Forlan in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Teodosio Riobo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zarzal FC's Lucio Pacheco. Lucio Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Ohiggins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernán Solo to maneuver through the defense. Arnau Forlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bobailă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igon Pascal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Serafín Mamani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zarzal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafín Mamani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnau Forlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute Lucero Christie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Zarzal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucero Christie came free, but Lucio Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pau Ferrel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Serafín Mamani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 87th match minute, Ohiggins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igon Pascal to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes Serafín Mamani rounded Ohiggins FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Ohiggins FC's Arnau Forlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ohiggins FC from getting a goal against them. Alesandro Echaurren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ohiggins FC's Arnau Forlan got control of the ball when Serafín Mamani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
