Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Turrieta in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Soria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Limani's Diego Rueda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Soria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramón Soria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Turrieta in the 11th minute of the match. If Sergio Turrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustavo Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limani's protests and gave Gustavo Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Gustavo Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacindo Stillfried sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Rueda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramón Soria having to make a save. Sergio Turrieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Pablo Unzueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Limani's Sergio Turrieta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramón Soria. Ramón Soria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Diego Rueda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdón Fiamenghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Alamo having to interfere. Diego Rueda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Soria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Diego Rueda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Rueda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 49 minutes into the match, Everton's goalkeeper Ramón Soria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Rueda. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Turrieta was the one to do the kick off. Ramón Soria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Rueda, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Iván Luis Duvauchelle hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Abdón Fiamenghi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Everton's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Turrieta came free, but Ramón Soria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Turrieta struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ramón Soria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limani. 2-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Sergio Turrieta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Limani's Sergio Turrieta got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacindo Stillfried's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Alamo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Abdón Fiamenghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Quique Navarrete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, Everton's Abdón Fiamenghi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Alamo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Abdón Fiamenghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Limani fully deserved thier win.
