In the 45th minute, one of Aburridos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aburridos FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Abner Fornes made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Montenegro got free with Albert Torrejón in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abner Fornes in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Torrejón saved Aburridos FC from getting behind. Nicolas Montenegro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Duraznito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Abner Fornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julián Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Daire hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Duraznito's Nicolas Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abner Fornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duraznito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
