The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 28th minute Lautaro Martos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevan Turpin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Camar FC's José Julio Magnolfi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasone Imaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Estevan Turpin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Martos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jasone Imaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Mandujano's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. José Julio Magnolfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Camar FC's Herminio Mandujano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jasone Imaz. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Camar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martos came free, but Estevan Turpin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adán Kroon struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Estevan Turpin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lautaro Martos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Estevan Turpin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adán Kroon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Adán Kroon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jasone Imaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Mandujano in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Julio Magnolfi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasone Imaz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 62 played minutes Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez got a freekick which was hit by Edilberto Borghi. Camar FC's Herminio Mandujano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez booed when Camar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Oñez y Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camar FC's Herminio Mandujano got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When José Julio Magnolfi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Camar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Julio Magnolfi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's zone, Herminio Mandujano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jasone Imaz came out of the goal and Herminio Mandujano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's Jasone Imaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Julio Magnolfi in the 94th minute of play. When José Julio Magnolfi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Camar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Julio Magnolfi couldn't finish the play.
