A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jasone Imaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Antonio Campo in the 9th minute of play. If José Antonio Campo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's Jasone Imaz got control of the ball when José Antonio Campo tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Antonio Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasone Imaz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurín Camposano during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Talcahuano getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maurín Camposano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's Jasone Imaz got control of the ball when José Antonio Campo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by José Antonio Campo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. José Antonio Campo came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jasone Imaz could save by the left post. After 35 played minutes Talcahuano got a freekick which was hit by Baudelio Justiniano. José Antonio Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasone Imaz having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jasone Imaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Antonio Campo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when José Antonio Campo came free, but Jasone Imaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nicolas Echeverría sped through Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jasone Imaz. Miliano Casanova hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Talcahuano's Baudelio Justiniano in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! José Antonio Campo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasone Imaz. Jasone Imaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Maurín Camposano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Talcahuano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurín Camposano couldn't finish the play. Silvio Bascuñán's late challenge caught a Escuela Ravanal Rodriguez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Bascuñán helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Silvio Bascuñán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adán Kroon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Talcahuano fully deserved thier win.
