Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Mazeira in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Álvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pinone Garnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hilario Troncoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Norberto Mazeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Álvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tor Rondón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Norberto Mazeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella del este's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Mazeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Estrella del este's Norberto Mazeira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Estrella del este's Hilario Troncoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinone Garnham in the 33rd minute of play. Pelada's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Norberto Mazeira 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Tor Rondón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Mazeira to make the kick off. Marcos Álvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Mazeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Pelada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estrella del este:s goal. 60 minutes into the match, Estrella del este's Norberto Mazeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Álvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tor Rondón struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Marcos Álvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella del este. Norberto Mazeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Álvarez having to interfere. Ermegildo Subercaseaux struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hilario Troncoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelada. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Feyto during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estrella del este fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Estrella del este:s Hilario Troncoso showed great skill when he stopped Rafael Maria Zubelzu:s penalty. Pinone Garnham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Malbrán kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Tor Rondón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Mazeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Álvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Rondón in the 81st minute of play. After 83rd play minutes Tor Rondón shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Marcos Álvarez and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Mazeira in the 89th minute of play forced Pelada's goalkeeper Marcos Álvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Rondón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Álvarez having to make a save. Norberto Mazeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tor Rondón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella del este's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Rondón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Álvarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Mazeira in the 98th minute of play forced Pelada's goalkeeper Marcos Álvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Troncoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinone Garnham in the 102nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estrella del este had won after a very even match.
