Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Mazeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Salomone Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Estrella del este got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Borda. After recieving a nice pass, Lluga AFC's Ariel Cea tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gaspar Borda's late challenge caught a Lluga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Borda helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Lluga AFC defense, Tor Rondón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Abeliuk. The Lluga AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Abeliuk should have stopped the shot. Norberto Mazeira struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Abel Abeliuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella del este. Norberto Mazeira scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Abeliuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salomone Ureta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Troncoso having to interfere. If Leopoldo Ralph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estrella del este's Hilario Troncoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Ralph in the 30th minute of play. Hilario Troncoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ralph in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tor Rondón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella del este's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Rondón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Abeliuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Mazeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Abeliuk having to interfere. A collision led to Lluga AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Juan Cristóbal Magdahl hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Estrella del este was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Troncoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salomone Ureta in the 45th minute. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lluga AFC's goalkeeper Abel Abeliuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Estrella del este were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Ralph to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Abeliuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Borda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Ralph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Luis Guerra's late challenge caught a Lluga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Luis Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Estrella del este's José Luis Guerra got a free kick in the 57th minute. Leopoldo Ralph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Troncoso having to interfere. When Tor Rondón came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Estrella del este fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Rondón couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Lluga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Cea to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Estrella del este's Norberto Mazeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Abeliuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Abeliuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Mazeira in the 73rd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Lluga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Javier Maldonado. After having played for 87 minutes, Tor Rondón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella del este's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Rondón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Mazeira in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Abeliuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Estrella del este's Norberto Mazeira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tor Rondón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estrella del este eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
