After some careless play in the Puquios defense, Hermelando Feliú kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quim Didier. The Puquios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quim Didier should have stopped the shot. Próspero Orrego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Quim Didier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Puquios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro José Molinare to maneuver through the defense. Quim Didier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Feliú in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Joel Sazie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puquios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Sazie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hermelando Feliú had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Canelillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlondón Murdoch came free, but Pedro Tomás Hermida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Sazie in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Tomás Hermida saved Canelillos FC from getting behind. Pedro Tomás Hermida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlondón Murdoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víctor Javier Rogers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Tomás Hermida.
