Emanuel Aranda scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manuel González, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Dragons getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Reyes Arenas hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Victorio Zamudio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manuel González was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Dragons's goalkeeper Lucio De la Cuadra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xalvador Angeloni. Lucio De la Cuadra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalvador Angeloni in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Dragons's Noé Ruz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Carlo Vanohier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lucio De la Cuadra made a huge save. In the 25th minute Emanuel Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manuel González saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Conchali LDEA's zone, Noé Ruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manuel González came out of the goal and Noé Ruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Luis Caballero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Dragons's Iván Gibson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manuel González came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dragons reached it. In the 33rd minute, Reyes Arenas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Aranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manuel González having to interfere. Dragons's Adolfo Chao got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Chao was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Dragons getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Reyes Arenas hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Conchali LDEA's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Chao came free, but Pedro Manuel González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conchali LDEA's Pedro Manuel González played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Chao in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Manuel González didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Aranda went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Adolfo Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manuel González having to interfere. With a little luck, Conchali LDEA's Pedro Manuel González got control of the ball when Emanuel Aranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Conchali LDEA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Miguel Ángel Narea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Conchali LDEA's zone, Adolfo Chao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manuel González came out of the goal and Adolfo Chao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Conchali LDEA got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Caballero. Pedro Manuel González showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Zamudio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Adolfo Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manuel González having to interfere. Adolfo Chao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manuel González came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolfo Chao slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 92nd minute. If Emanuel Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dragons's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
