A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Hornillos AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Christiano Palau hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Maurín Seisdedos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baudelio Rufo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Alarico Koch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baudelio Rufo. Hornillos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alarico Koch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Christiano Palau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eufrasio Devia. Baudelio Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alarico Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Firmín Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eufrasio Devia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Firmín Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baudelio Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurín Seisdedos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alarico Koch was the one to do the kick off. When Leovigildo Garretón came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hornillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leovigildo Garretón couldn't finish the play. Maurín Seisdedos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baudelio Rufo having to make a save. Maurín Seisdedos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Baudelio Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Hornillos AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
