With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucero Cataldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Álvaro Galarce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Galarce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes, Felipo Arizmendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninquihue FC and the Molineros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ninquihue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molineros the free kick. The supporters of Molineros booed when Ninquihue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Caticura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Ninquihue FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miguel Brieba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Álvaro Galarce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Brieba in the 42nd minute. Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Brieba couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes of play, Molineros's Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro Galarce was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Molineros's Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Galarce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Molineros's Lucero Cataldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Molineros from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Galarce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Brieba in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Molineros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlo Mamani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Juan Pedro Diaz de Valdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ninquihue FC's Feliberto Alcaíno got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Miguel Brieba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ninquihue FC's Álvaro Galarce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Molineros's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
