Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eber Zegarra kicked off to start the match. Montt's Miguel Quiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montt's Tancredo Alcaide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Socias in the 26th minute of play. Miguel Quiroz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nacho Fariña firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miguel Quiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Fariña having to interfere. Nacho Fariña made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Miguel Quiroz sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Leonardo Pradel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Fariña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pocillas FC's Nacho Fariña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Pradel in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Eber Zegarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tancredo Alcaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Pradel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho Fariña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Montt booed when Pocillas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mac Iver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pocillas FC's Nacho Fariña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Quiroz in the 55th minute of play. Tancredo Alcaide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Socias in the 58th minute. A collision led to Montt getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Geraldo Durango hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Erik Socias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Socias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Socias in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tancredo Alcaide, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Quiroz in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nacho Fariña saved Pocillas FC from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, Montt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miren Serrano to maneuver through the defense. Pocillas FC's Florencio Lastra shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tancredo Alcaide but with some difficulty. 73 minutes into the match, Montt's goal looked a bit too open when Eber Zegarra came free, but Tancredo Alcaide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eber Zegarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montt's Leonardo Pradel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Quiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Fariña having to interfere. When Eber Zegarra came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pocillas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eber Zegarra couldn't finish the play. Erik Socias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tancredo Alcaide made a huge save. Montt's Leonardo Pradel got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Montt players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
