The crowd rose to their feet as Barrancas's Orlondón Bahamondes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romualdo Suazo. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Romualdo Suazo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Hugo Orlando Carrillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Orlando Carrillo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Vincente De Rurange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrancas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amancio Zapata was slow to take the kick. During this time Bodeuca AFC's players had a chance to rest. Romualdo Suazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Orlando Carrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sarracino Maritano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bodeuca AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sarracino Maritano couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Orlando Carrillo was the one to do the kick off. Romualdo Suazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Orlando Carrillo in the 56th minute of the match. The Barrancas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Orlondón Bahamondes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barrancas were victorious despite being under pressure from Bodeuca AFC for much of the match.
