Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaitano Celada started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Pinone Almeyda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Arens came out of the goal and Pinone Almeyda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roldán Seraín charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roldán Seraín the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldán Seraín to maneuver through the defense. Nacimiento AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christiano Moñiz in the 28th minute. Elías Adan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llinua AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Frei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Llinua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Velasco. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pinone Almeyda was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Juan María Blondel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacimiento AFC and the Llinua AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Juan María Blondel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaitano Celada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Frei having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Elías Adan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Frei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Gaitano Celada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaitano Celada struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ermegildo Frei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacimiento AFC. After 71 played minutes Llinua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Marileo. Llinua AFC's Ermegildo Frei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elías Adan in the 80th minute of play. Gaitano Celada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Frei having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldán Seraín to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaitano Celada in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Frei saved Llinua AFC from getting behind. Elías Adan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
