After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gerónimo Del Pino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafael FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerónimo Del Pino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matteo Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Wallffiguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruyman Sotelo in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Rafael FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abraham Tenorio hit a great ball. Ruyman Sotelo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. David Wallffiguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palguin. Gerónimo Del Pino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Matteo Rocha made a huge save. David Wallffiguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Rast in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palguin's Constantino Aulestia got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Palguin's Matteo Rocha got control of the ball when Gerónimo Del Pino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruyman Sotelo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Wallffiguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rafael FC's zone, Ruyman Sotelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Wallffiguer came out of the goal and Ruyman Sotelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gerardo Rast came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Palguin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Rast couldn't finish the play. Ruyman Sotelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Wallffiguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruyman Sotelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lauro Banderas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. David Wallffiguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romano Bascuñán made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palguin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Pedro Forster was slow to take the kick. During this time Rafael FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Abraham Tenorio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 56th minute, Ruyman Sotelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Rast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. David Wallffiguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zarpas Chalco fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafael FC's protests and gave Zarpas Chalco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palguin booed when Rafael FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarpas Chalco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Ruyman Sotelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gerardo Rast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Wallffiguer made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gerardo Rast sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Ruyman Sotelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Wallffiguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Leovigildo San Cristóbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafael FC and the Palguin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Rafael FC got a freekick which was hit by Leovigildo San Cristóbal. In the 90th minute, Gerardo Rast got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Rafael FC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Pedro Forster, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palguin's Matteo Rocha. 2-0. Rafael FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
