A collision led to Gueyusca getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Quintén Potts hit a great ball. When Markus Balart came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Gueyusca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Balart couldn't finish the play. Longavi's Aristides Lobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Longavi from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Longavi booed when Gueyusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odol Feliú didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Casimiro Gibson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Longavi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gueyusca the free kick. 35 minutes into the match, Gueyusca's Quintén Potts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Lobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristides Lobos made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Markus Balart sent off a good shot on target. Casimír Mac Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Quintén Potts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Lobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Gueyusca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Longavi's performance. The match ended with a win for Longavi.
