A sloppy throw-in by Firmín Artaño in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Universidad de Chile's Ulises Feres. In the 30th minute, Normando Recalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Amancio Villa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simón Federici showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quintín Wheeler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simón Federici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Simón Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintín Wheeler, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Abraham Alvear could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Rolando Villegas made a huge save. One of Universidad de Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of aventureros forever:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rolando Villegas, was totally fooled by aventureros forever's Carlos Gustavo Allu, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Quintín Wheeler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Villegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alvear went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 63 minutes, Salbatore Alejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universidad de Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salbatore Alejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mercurio Wirth, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Quintín Wheeler rounded aventureros forever's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. After 74 minutes of play, Universidad de Chile's Eduardo Fadda made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simón Federici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Soruco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Simón Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Fadda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Simón Federici made a huge save. With his leg Simón Federici managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Universidad de Chile's Quintín Wheeler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Quintín Wheeler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Fadda could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Simón Federici however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, aventureros forever's Simón Federici got control of the ball when Quintín Wheeler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Universidad de Chile's Eduardo Fadda got a free kick in the 98th minute. aventureros forever's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
