The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Maxín Linacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Quipisca AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solor FC:s goal. Quintén Rondizzoni had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Anastasio Bulnes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Maxín Linacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Romualdo Perl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romualdo Perl made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Quipisca AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solor FC:s goal. Anastasio Bulnes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Romualdo Perl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Xulián Yáñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quipisca AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solor FC the free kick. Quintén Rondizzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxín Linacre in the 67th minute of play. Pierre Puyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Romualdo Perl came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Solor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romualdo Perl couldn't finish the play. Barni Alegría kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Romualdo Perl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romualdo Perl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
