An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemencín Ferraro in the 14th minute of play forced Pumiri's goalkeeper Amado Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Guntademaro Alejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blanco López in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco López, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pumiri's Guntademaro Alejo got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Blanco López made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pumiri's Amado Franco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amado Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanco López in the 45th minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, Pumiri's Uriel Felip made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leovigildo Barrios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blanco López in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Blanco López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Clemencín Ferraro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amado Franco, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blanco López in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Franco saved Pumiri from getting behind. Blanco López succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. The QUILMES AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
