Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rosalio Mascaro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosalio Mascaro in the 4th minute of play forced Quidenez FC's goalkeeper Diego Armando Bascuñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quidenez FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blanco Olasagutia was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportes Mauriño's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Deportes Mauriño's Blanco Olasagutia to fire away a dangerous shot which Diego Armando Bascuñán despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Blanco Olasagutia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Deportes Mauriño's Blanco Cuminao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gaymer in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Quidenez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Manosalva to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Blanco Olasagutia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportes Mauriño's supporters rose to their feet, but Blanco Olasagutia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Armando Bascuñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustavo Gaymer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute, Lander Igualt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 minutes, Hermelando Daniels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportes Mauriño and the Quidenez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Mauriño's Hermelando Daniels got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Blanco Cuminao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gaymer in the 43rd minute of the match. Godofredo Maschke kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gustavo Gaymer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Quintín Méndez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Armando Bascuñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Rosalio Mascaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Club Deportes Mauriño got a freekick which was hit by Igor Albuerne. Jerardo Villarino hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Blanco Olasagutia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Diego Armando Bascuñán 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quidenez FC booed when Club Deportes Mauriño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Igualt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blanco Cuminao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Mozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79th play minutes Rosalio Mascaro shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Diego Armando Bascuñán and just under the crossbar into goal. When Blanco Olasagutia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Deportes Mauriño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blanco Olasagutia couldn't finish the play. Rosalio Mascaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Diego Armando Bascuñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blanco Olasagutia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 91 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Mauriño's Blanco Olasagutia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Armando Bascuñán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blanco Olasagutia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Armando Bascuñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportes Mauriño left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quidenez FC.
