Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erasmo Zamudio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaume Otarola having to interfere. Darío Webar might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Armijo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darío Webar ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Vaqueria defense, Cristóbal Bazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaume Otarola. The Vaqueria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaume Otarola should have stopped the shot. If Darío Webar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Bocatoma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Ángel Sandiford to maneuver through the defense. If Erasmo Zamudio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Armijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Webar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Juan Alfonso Santis helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darío Webar to make the kick off. If Darío Webar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Darío Webar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Armijo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 62 played minutes Vaqueria got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Naveda. Erasmo Zamudio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jaume Otarola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Sandiford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocatoma AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaqueria the free kick. Miguel Ángel Sandiford kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Bocatoma AFC's Angelino Armijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Webar in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play Bocatoma AFC's Miguel Ángel Sandiford was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Vaqueria booed when Bocatoma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ángel Sandiford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bocatoma AFC's Angelino Armijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Alfonso Santis in the 77th minute of play. Angelino Armijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Alfonso Santis in the 84th minute of the match. If Darío Webar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darío Webar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bocatoma AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
