With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pinone Musalem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blackpool FC's Pinone Musalem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Sierra in the 66th minute of play. Fabricio Sierra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pinone Musalem having to make a save. When Justo Arnault came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Negrete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Arnault couldn't finish the play. If Justo Arnault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinone Musalem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Arnault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blackpool FC's Américo Riquelme got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Américo Riquelme off the ground. Fabricio Sierra took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pinone Musalem. Pinone Musalem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Blackpool FC's zone, Inocente Lecuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pinone Musalem came out of the goal and Inocente Lecuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Negrete getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Abdul Feyto hit a great ball. Blackpool FC's Gaston Paut got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Negrete's Fabricio Sierra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pinone Musalem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Blackpool FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
