When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Luis Angel Valencia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alonzo Iturbe to make any attempt to save it. Alonzo Iturbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damario Faivovich in the 29th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Luis Angel Valencia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conaripe AFC's Alonzo Iturbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Canan's Damario Faivovich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Florinio Lavalle's late challenge caught a Conaripe AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florinio Lavalle helped the player get up and apologised. Florinio Lavalle kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Gerónimo Dattwyler came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Conaripe AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerónimo Dattwyler couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canan's goalkeeper Andolín Gutiérrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Schuchardt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Canan booed when Conaripe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javiero Lasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Schuchardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Andolín Gutiérrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andolín Gutiérrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Schuchardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Damario Faivovich notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Conaripe AFC's Alonzo Iturbe. Alonzo Iturbe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Canan had won after a very even match.
