After a defensive mix-up in Tabuco's zone, Angelino Oliveros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Javier Claude came out of the goal and Angelino Oliveros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Collentane's Angelino Oliveros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Javier Claude. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. If Angelino Oliveros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Javier Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Oliveros in the 40th minute of play. Angelino Oliveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelino Oliveros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, one of Tabuco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Collentane a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The Collentane fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tabuco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
