Mercurio Edwards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xulián Meneses's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Araoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. If Pere Jordi Larrarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Félix Puelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mercurio Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dionisio Pfingsthorn did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Emiliano Araoz 43 minutes into the match. Dionisio Pfingsthorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Pfingsthorn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demolition boys FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Félix Puelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mercurio Edwards in the 81st minute of the match. Demolition boys FC's Emiliano Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulián Meneses in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Leovigildo Daneri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Demolition boys FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
