Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Javier Mayol got the match started through his kick off. Tancredo Basualdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilio Waddington having to make a save. Francisco Javier Mayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilio Waddington having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Quilimanzano's Paulín Daughters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilio Waddington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chacon's zone, Tancredo Basualdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilio Waddington came out of the goal and Tancredo Basualdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Paulín Daughters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilio Waddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Callejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Möller having to interfere. Matthias Möller made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lorenzo Callejas sent off a good shot on target. Matthias Möller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Gramusset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintén Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Francisco Javier Mayol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilimanzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Javier Mayol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Quilimanzano's Paulín Daughters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilio Waddington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Gramusset in the 29th minute of play forced Quilimanzano's goalkeeper Matthias Möller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tancredo Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Guillermo Lizana Lezana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Teofilio Waddington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Paulín Daughters notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chacon's Teofilio Waddington. Teofilio Waddington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Lorenzo Callejas's late challenge caught a Quilimanzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Callejas helped the player get up and apologised. When Francisco Javier Mayol in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Teofilio Waddington kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 64 minutes into the match, Paulín Daughters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilio Waddington. Chacon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulín Daughters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 71 minutes into the match, Chacon's goal looked a bit too open when Quintén Pino came free, but Teofilio Waddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Möller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Gramusset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Francisco Javier Mayol lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Teofilio Waddington. Teofilio Waddington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Javier Mayol's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Teofilio Waddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Javier Mayol in the 85th minute of play. When Jaime Detmer fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacon's protests and gave Jaime Detmer a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Detmer hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Paulín Daughters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilio Waddington. The goal made the score 0-9. When Francisco Javier Mayol fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilimanzano's protests and gave Francisco Javier Mayol a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Chacon got a freekick which was hit by Bairon Alzaga. Quilimanzano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
