Marcos Harriet started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Pishuinco FC booed when Deportivo Santa Elena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Frei didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saverio Urenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Marcos Harriet lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Igon Robles. In the 16th minute, Saverio Urenda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Modesto Montalva took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Igon Robles to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Pazols got free with Igon Robles in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Pishuinco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Chirinos to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pishuinco FC's Sandro Estay got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Harriet in the 34th minute of play forced Pishuinco FC's goalkeeper Igon Robles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Fulco Quintana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pishuinco FC and the Deportivo Santa Elena players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Pishuinco FC's Igon Robles got control of the ball when Abraham Pazols tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandro Estay's late challenge caught a Deportivo Santa Elena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Estay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Sandro Estay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Mauro Tabilo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pishuinco FC's Igon Robles didn't even have to move. 46 minutes into the match, Pishuinco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Harriet came free, but Igon Robles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Urenda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Abraham Pazols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Abraham Pazols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Santa Elena's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Pazols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igon Robles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Modesto Montalva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Santa Elena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Pishuinco FC's Igon Robles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Pazols in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pishuinco FC's zone, Abraham Pazols stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igon Robles came out of the goal and Abraham Pazols tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igon Robles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Pazols's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Abraham Pazols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Igon Robles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Pishuinco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mónico Dalgalarrando to maneuver through the defense. Igon Robles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Marcos Harriet notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pishuinco FC's Igon Robles. Igon Robles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Leonides Pardow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Akel. Deportivo Santa Elena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Pardow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There was no doubt that Deportivo Santa Elena were the better team. Deportivo Santa Elena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
