An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Montalva in the 14th minute of play forced conaut's goalkeeper Elodio Mantzke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the conaut defense, Modesto Montalva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elodio Mantzke. The conaut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elodio Mantzke should have stopped the shot. When Aldo Menares fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Santa Elena's protests and gave Aldo Menares a yellow card for diving instead. Valentín Moncada kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Mauro Tabilo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elodio Mantzke. conaut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind conaut's goalkeeper Elodio Mantzke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Abraham Pazols ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elodio Mantzke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Elodio Mantzke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Pazols in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcos Harriet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elodio Mantzke was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, one of conaut:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for conaut. The referee gave Deportivo Santa Elena a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Tabilo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of conaut's Elodio Mantzke. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavián Santibañez to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Genaro Diez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Abraham Pazols had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elodio Mantzke. conaut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Pazols was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Elodio Mantzke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elodio Mantzke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Pazols went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 64thth minute of the game Marcos Harriet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but conaut's Elodio Mantzke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elodio Mantzke made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Abraham Pazols sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Pazols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elodio Mantzke having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Santa Elena booed when conaut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elodio Mantzke having to interfere. Marcos Harriet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Elodio Mantzke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcos Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elodio Mantzke was a little too slow when Modesto Montalva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. Elodio Mantzke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Harriet in the 96th minute of play. The conaut fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Santa Elena were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
