Darío Ruiz Tagle hit a great ball. Machuca's Danilo Von Bischhoffshausen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thedagerausdachine united. After 19 minutes of play, Machuca's Aaron Ferrada made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Otaegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Fedeghelli took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano Otaegui. Luciano Otaegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 35th minute, Juanjo Aburto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Aaron Ferrada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machuca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, Machuca's Aaron Ferrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Otaegui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The Thedagerausdachine united players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machuca were winning 0-5.

Natanael Camiña struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Christian Camus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thedagerausdachine united. Thedagerausdachine united's Luciano Otaegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Thedagerausdachine united from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes, Machuca's Darío Mansilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano Otaegui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Machuca reached it. In the 69th minute Natanael Camiña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Camus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Camiña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Christian Camus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Ferrada in the 86th minute of play forced Thedagerausdachine united's goalkeeper Luciano Otaegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Ferrada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Otaegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Marcos Fedeghelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Machuca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
