Spectators: 7388 (Terracing: 5542, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eleuterio Smith started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Temuco City C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Inocente Heredia. Temuco City C.F.'s Demetrio Liberona got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristeo Contreras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmín Fedorov having to interfere. A collision led to Temuco City C.F. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Xabier Romo hit a great ball. Firmín Fedorov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristeo Contreras in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Temuco City C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocente Heredia to maneuver through the defense. Marco Ried made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Liberona in the 21st minute. If Aristeo Contreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Spor Ditroit's goalkeeper Marco Ried had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Liberona. 30 minutes into the match, Spor Ditroit's Eleuterio Smith sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Firmín Fedorov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Firmín Fedorov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Eleuterio Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmín Fedorov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Perales received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Ried came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Perales slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Demetrio Liberona struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marco Ried didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temuco City C.F.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Demetrio Liberona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Demetrio Liberona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Temuco City C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Liberona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Ried breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Aristeo Contreras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Ried stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Perales's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Aristeo Contreras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 played minutes Eleuterio Smith rounded Temuco City C.F.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 70th minute of the game, Hermelando Ugas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 71 minutes into the game, Adriano Perales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temuco City C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spor Ditroit the free kick. The supporters of Spor Ditroit booed when Temuco City C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabier Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Temuco City C.F.'s Firmín Fedorov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Temuco City C.F. from getting a goal against them. Marco Ried made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Perales in the 82nd minute of play. Marco Ried showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Perales, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 84th match minute, Spor Ditroit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliverio Cumplido to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo Isasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Ried quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Demetrio Liberona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Spor Ditroit players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
