In the 16th minute Flavio Peredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Puga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lastarria AFC's Roger Almendras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Lastarria AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Zorrilla during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lastarria AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Roger Almendras, was totally fooled by Coironal FC's Andolín Andolcetti, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 29th minute, Florinio Tripailaf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Hiriart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dionisio Puga. Coironal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Aros in the 35th minute of play forced Coironal FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Puga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Aros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lastarria AFC's Roger Almendras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lastarria AFC from getting a goal against them. Lastarria AFC's Flavio Peredo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Aros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Jesus Argo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Dechent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Dechent in the 61st minute of play forced Lastarria AFC's goalkeeper Roger Almendras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Almendras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Jesus Argo in the 63rd minute of the match. Moisés Wassermayer kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Nicasio Zorrilla missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Dionisio Puga right hand side. Eduard Aros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Puga having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lastarria AFC's Florinio Tripailaf got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Roger Almendras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Jesus Argo in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lastarria AFC's zone, Justo Dechent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Almendras came out of the goal and Justo Dechent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduard Aros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Carreto's late challenge caught a Lastarria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Carreto helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Coironal FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Carreto. In the 95th of the match, Eduard Aros tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dionisio Puga got in the way and made a wonderful save. Lastarria AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
