Romano Araube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamariz Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Estebano Berecedo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Markus Chamorro came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Caleu AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Chamorro couldn't finish the play. When Gregorio Hermua fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepcion's protests and gave Gregorio Hermua a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caleu AFC's Mannuel Marsal got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Markus Chamorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caleu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Chamorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Markus Chamorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Zarpas Sánchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zebulón Quintupil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 83 played minutes Caleu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Barra. Zebulón Quintupil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Chamorro in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Chamorro in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zebulón Quintupil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Markus Chamorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Concepcion's Romano Araube threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tamariz Peña, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
