In the 9th minute Vasco Sovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Candia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Morgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Serón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Serón charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Serón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcel Serón kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Edgar Morgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batista Landaeta's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Soltebrios's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Paris came free, but Mario Candia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Tanilvoro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Cohen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Soltebrios booed when Tanilvoro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Sastre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Morgado made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Filiberto Mallorquin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Soltebrios getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Humberto Suazo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Tanilvoro AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filiberto Mallorquin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Soltebrios fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Soltebrios's Filiberto Mallorquin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Tanilvoro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Serón came free, but Edgar Morgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Marcel Serón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Morgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Soltebrios booed when Tanilvoro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moncho Rueda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batista Landaeta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mario Candia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javiero Borghi in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Soltebrios got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Javier Barticciotto. Francisco Ducci struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mario Candia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanilvoro AFC. Edgar Morgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Mallorquin's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Filiberto Mallorquin might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Morgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Mallorquin ran back to his position shaking his head. Javiero Borghi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mario Candia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanilvoro AFC. After a rather tough play, Tanilvoro AFC's Juan Cohen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Javiero Borghi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tanilvoro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javiero Borghi couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Mallorquin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Morgado saved Tanilvoro AFC from getting behind. Edgar Morgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Serón went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Serón in the 86th minute of play forced Tanilvoro AFC's goalkeeper Edgar Morgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Tanilvoro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Serón came free, but Edgar Morgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanilvoro AFC's Edgar Morgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Serón in the 92nd minute of play. Rubén Paris scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Candia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Soltebrios fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tanilvoro AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
