Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Maximiliano Jadue who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Adolfo Huaiquiman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elías Camara scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Huaiquiman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 66 minutes, Luis Alberto Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linares AFC and the Astralis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Linares AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
