Matteo Constantinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Caticura in the 24th minute of play. If Manuelo Araube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorencio Neculman during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abarca's Horacio Jesus Garzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Echavarría in the 31st minute of play. If Cecilio Echavarría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
