When Manuelo Quirch came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chalipen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuelo Quirch couldn't finish the play. Adelino Badal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuelo Quirch, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes of play, Chalipen's Manuelo Quirch made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Badal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chalipen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chanqueahue the free kick. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Chanqueahue. Florentino Quiero scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelino Badal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Chalipen's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Maria Barrera came free, but Ermegildo Feloaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chalipen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
