Niceto Isasiguia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Campo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Guaracina's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Campo came free, but Niceto Isasiguia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Isasiguia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Fell, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Abarca was the one to do the kick off. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 55th minute, but Niceto Isasiguia got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Guaracina hanging dry this time. If Brian Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Echeverz in the 61st minute of play forced Panimavida FC's goalkeeper Manuel Antonio Guardia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Niceto Isasiguia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Campo in the 93rd minute of play. Marciano Fell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Isasiguia having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
