Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Pilinhue's Aureliano Chamorro started the match with a crisp pass. After 13 played minutes Cauquenes got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Garnham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Cohen in the 14th minute of play forced Cauquenes's goalkeeper Juan Miguel Armanet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pilinhue's Amado Cohen got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauquenes's Juan Miguel Armanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Cohen in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Pietro Dabrowsky sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Miguel Armanet skillfully saved the ball. When Jacinto Garnham was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Pilinhue's Aureliano Chamorro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Miguel Armanet having to interfere. Juan Miguel Armanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Cohen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jerardo Arizmendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florín Dinarte having to interfere. Florín Dinarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bairon Echandia's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Cauquenes's Juan Miguel Armanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Chamorro in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Amado Cohen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliano Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florín Dinarte came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cauquenes's Jerardo Arizmendi. But to his dismay, Jerardo Arizmendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Pilinhue's goal looked a bit too open when Jerardo Arizmendi came free, but Florín Dinarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jerardo Arizmendi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Cauquenes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerardo Arizmendi couldn't finish the play. Justo Landaeta charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Landaeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Pilinhue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Landaeta to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Jerardo Arizmendi made a precise shot to the right of Florín Dinarte. Pilinhue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Aureliano Chamorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Casimiro Ornaz sped through Pilinhue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florín Dinarte. Jerardo Arizmendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florín Dinarte having to interfere.
