Spectators: 2200 (Terracing: 1800, Seating: 400, VIP seats: 0) Valentín Echandia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Florín Dinarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Echandia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Valentín Echandia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachapoal's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentín Echandia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florín Dinarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the game, Justo Landaeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilinhue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachapoal the free kick. Justo Landaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Valentín Echandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florín Dinarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Echandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentín Echandia struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Florín Dinarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachapoal. Valentín Echandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Pappenheim hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Orlando Zuburu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florín Dinarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Zuburu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Orlando Zuburu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florín Dinarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Orlando Zuburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Amado Cohen came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pilinhue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Cohen couldn't finish the play. Florín Dinarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Zuburu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cachapoal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Chamorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Chamorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luis Angel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Valentín Echandia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Aureliano Chamorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilinhue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Chamorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Amado Cohen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Angel Moreira. Cachapoal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Cohen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 63 played minutes Pilinhue got a freekick which was hit by Roland Pappenheim. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Zuburu got free with Florín Dinarte in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florín Dinarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Echandia in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Valentín Echandia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florín Dinarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Zuburus short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Florín Dinarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valentín Echandia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Florín Dinarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pilinhue's Amado Cohen in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachapoal's goalie prevented a goal. Orlando Zuburu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentín Echandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florín Dinarte having to interfere. Orlando Zuburu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florín Dinarte having to make a save.
