Calixto Albert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhuo Hao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Cumplido having to make a save. A collision led to Cruzados getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Laureano Cumsille hit a great ball. Zhuo Hao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Recasens in the 11th minute of play. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Telmo Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Cumplido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Telmo Cumplido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Karageorgopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Aimilios Karageorgopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Telmo Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Cumplido. Telmo Cumplido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Isaac Recasens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Aimilios Karageorgopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimilios Karageorgopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Recasens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Cumsille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Telmo Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Aimilios Karageorgopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Isaac Recasens struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Zhuo Hao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Churigualla. Aimilios Karageorgopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Aimilios Karageorgopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calixto Albert's late challenge caught a Cruzados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calixto Albert helped the player get up and apologised. Calixto Albert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cruzados's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
