Iker Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Edwards having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondino Caamaño in the 18th minute of play forced Colina FC's goalkeeper Ruyman Polloni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Octavio Ondegardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esequiel Puccio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Liberto Zercalde fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colina FC's protests and gave Liberto Zercalde a yellow card for diving instead. Colina FC's Ruyman Polloni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Hermida in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Octavio Ondegardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruyman Polloni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aroma's goalkeeper Bernardo Edwards, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Iker Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Edwards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruyman Polloni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Ondegardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Colina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Zammit to maneuver through the defense. Ruyman Polloni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Trumbull, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Iker Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Bernardo Edwards successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Iker Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Edwards breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Hermida to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Aroma's Jonatan Hermida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruyman Polloni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Colina FC's Esequiel Puccio got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Iker Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
