Alex Sanchez had several of the Voigue's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Serafín Winter as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Natalio Semir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafín Winter was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Sanchez in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafín Winter saved Voigue from getting behind. In the 10th minute Nereo Oquendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanausu De la Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Voigue's Adelino Portolés got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ramón Bourchier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiacobres's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Bourchier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafín Winter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gladiacobres's Alex Sanchez in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voigue's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Gladiacobres booed when Voigue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Oquendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gladiacobres getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ramón Bourchier hit a great ball. Gladiacobres's Tanausu De la Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Lanchares in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alex Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanausu De la Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Portolés in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match Alex Sanchez climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Serafín Winter. Serafín Winter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Natalio Semir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafín Winter, 3-0. In the 49th minute, Alex Sanchez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Sanchez made a kick off. Alex Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafín Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramón Bourchier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafín Winter having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Alex Sanchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiacobres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Alex Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafín Winter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Alex Sanchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafín Winter. Voigue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Sanchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 77th minute, Nacho Azcue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Sanchez took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafín Winter. Serafín Winter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Gladiacobres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Avgust Rankov in the 93rd minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Alex Sanchez sped through Voigue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafín Winter. In the 98thth minute of the game Alex Sanchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voigue's Serafín Winter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gladiacobres fully deserved thier win.
