Concepción Azul F.C.'s players were relieved. Honorato Berau kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Juan Fernando Semell struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gabino Saldés didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voigue. Enmanuel Feldman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafín Winter having to interfere. Voigue's Adelino Portolés got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Voigue's Nacho Azcue slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabino Saldés. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Adelino Portolés blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabino Saldés having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Juan Fernando Semell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Juan Fernando Semell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Voigue's Adelino Portolés made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabino Saldés was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Portolés made a kick off. Ulises Urceda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Concepción Azul F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menéndez Heredia to maneuver through the defense. Voigue's Rosalio Sandiford couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Concepción Azul F.C.. In the 71stth minute of the game Adelino Portolés who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Concepción Azul F.C.'s Gabino Saldés was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Enmanuel Feldman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Concepción Azul F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enmanuel Feldman couldn't finish the play. Juan Fernando Semell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabino Saldés having to interfere. After some careless play in the Concepción Azul F.C. defense, Juan Fernando Semell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabino Saldés. The Concepción Azul F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabino Saldés should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Voigue's goal looked a bit too open when Enmanuel Feldman came free, but Serafín Winter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juan Fernando Semell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Adelino Portolés who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Concepción Azul F.C.'s Gabino Saldés was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabino Saldés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Fernando Semell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enmanuel Feldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Serafín Winter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Fernando Semell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Fernando Semell came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Voigue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Fernando Semell couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Voigue had played much better football throughout.
