In a very dangerous position, a player in Pelarco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Regino Diban walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Ervigio Avaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Leoncio Chandia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flor del Trago F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leoncio Chandia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdul Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ervigio Avaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Abdul Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Pelarco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Zaror to maneuver through the defense. Flor del Trago F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
